Candy

by Mel   Oct 13, 2011

Did you taste my dream?

How far did you run
Before you tripped and fell?

There's candy floss in your blood stained knees,
A quiet pain, a sudden rush, you held your hand out to me.
What did you see?

I see my secrets in your reddened cheeks.
And that smile won't hold no more.
We both taste it, when my tongue's inside your mouth.

Even if all I gave you
Was black and cold
And my screaming heart
Would continue to screw you over,

Your beautiful eyes still tell me things that
I don't deserve.

Guilty conscience, fear of commitment, or just admiration of devotion, its good now matter how its taken 5/5
