Love Not Pure

From whence comes love
that fills our hearts each day
and show us the wonder
that only love can say?

We know it comes from God
that is why it has to be pure
like that in God's own heart
a love that can endure.

It must be true, it must be honest
never hiding or deceiving
But filled with truth, that of God
one you are always believing!

God will guide, and show the way
to true love, one can cherish
and know when it is of God
it will never, ever perish.

Satan doth deceive and lie
and causes us to lust
But true, lasting love from God
is one that we can trust.

When there are questions in your mind
and honor is not in your view
then double check your heart
and see if this love is true.

Never, ever let there be doubt
when you let your heart be taken
for IF it is not rock solid
then your foundation can be shaken.

Check the source from whence love comes
the hold the measure close
be sure that it is a double match
before you lose the most.

For if you are not very careful
and give your heart away
before you are sure it is true
then it may be only play.

The consequences are very hard
some you will not want to endure
for that is the price you pay
when love is not totally pure!
