Her Biggest Regret

by believeinlove87   Oct 13, 2011

Life is filled with mistakes,
wrong words said,
mis-communication here & there,
one bad mistake can bring a world of regret.

Why did I have to send that email she thinks,
I should have waited, given him a chance to explain,
jumped to conclusions,
broke it off,
a week with no contact,
she couldn't take it anymore.

Tears race down her face,
alcohol fills up her stomach,
needs to numb this unbearable pain,
what did she just do,
lost the one she loves, when he wasn't ignoring her,
screw you negative mind she thinks,
feeling like the worlds biggest b**ch,
drinks away her sorrows.

He hates her, doesn't understand shes sorry,
always ruining everything good in her life,
can't it just go good for one time,
regret sending that email,
calling it off, now knowing its her biggest mistake,
he was gonna surprise her,
she hurt him bad,
it aches her heart to even think about it.

I'm sorry she says,
I never meant to do that, but
what was I supposed to think,
hoping for his forgiveness,
she didn't realize how much she truly loves him,
one email sent before an explanation,
this is her biggest regret.

I know we can't take back everything we once said..I loved this piece cuz it shows how she wants to have another chance and how hard she tried to let him know she's sorry
