Batman

by Mark Spencer   Oct 13, 2011

Good evening Gotham citizens
I'm here to save the day!
I drive this fancy souped-up car,
In tights of black and gray!

I'm the hero all villains fear!
No...I'm not Superman!
The other guy all villains fear!
What? No! Not Spiderman!!!

Am I dressed like an arachnid???
Look at my pointy ears!
I stalk the shadows late at night,
And prey upon your fears!

Come on!! I'm not the Punisher!!
I'm sneakier than him!
The Dark Knight is what they call me!
Because I'm dark and grim!

Really?? Do I look like BEN Grimm,
Big orange and lumpy???
Before you ask, I'm not the Hulk!!
Even though I'm grumpy!!

I do not have a magic ring,
Or a silver surfboard!!
I have no patriotic shield
To fight off Hitler's horde!!

I'm just a rich guy with a cape,
And lots of nifty toys.
I fight the crown princes of crime,
With scantily clad boys!

So don't you dare get my name wrong!
Take that smirk and cram it!
You know exactly who I am!
I'm the Batman damit!!!
