Demons and Devils (Rispetto)

by Sylvia   Oct 16, 2011

Demons, devils dwell in my head.
Long sharp claws are scratching the wall.
Now they're hiding under my bed!
Those beady red eyes make me squall.

Be quiet, you can hear them call.
Long sharp claws are scratching the wall.
Beady red eyes staring at me,
lips bared, yellow teeth snarl with glee.

If it haunts you, stop watching so much horror and gore. If it doesn't and you get a thrill then it's alright. I guess. :-)

Ohh what a dark yet beautiful write... I interpreted in two different ways, one with the literal meaning, other as a metaphor for all the devilish thoughts that reside in our head...
loved the way you have expressed it.

Connie, I just decided that repeating the lines seemed to fit, it is not a requirement of that form.

Dark. Nice form. I wonder must there be 2 lines alike, or did you just do it that way? Maybe I will try one too. Geat chioce for the title. What imagery!
