A LIFETIME LOVER

by MARIA   Oct 17, 2011

Oh how young we were,
But fell in love,
Oh how crazy we were,
About that love.

We did not have ups and downs,
They just got involved,
We heard by the sounds,
That is when we got solved.

We were apart,
For sometime,
It broke my heart,
For that time.

It was romantic,
How we got through,
It was fantastic,
How you came back through.

We both sacrificed,
For us to be together,
Our love was sufficed,
And then we got altogether.

Lips were connected,
Bodies were attached,
Feelings were created,
And they all matched.

You were mine then,
I could see it in your eyes,
We did fall again,
And we did again rise.

We traveled a long way,
The road was too long,
we were not together anyway,
It could be a lovely song.

We shared a lot,
Good and bad times,
In case i forgot,
I did not commit crimes.

At last we got together,
For a longer period this time,
Until you got leaded by our father,
I cried my tears all night.

Distance gave you a choice,
To choose me or your leader,
That is when you heard noise,
And went to see the reader.

Your choice was to go to him,
He who can not be seen,
But yes you did choose him,
And it seemed i was in between.

I had a choice,
And i chose to leave,
You could not speak out your voice,
And i could not believe.

I did not know how you felt,
You wished me a farewell,
I was tied like a belt.
And you told me to get-well.

How i wish we could have kissed goodbye,
My heart was attached by war of anger,
I forgave you for i know that you were mine,
But then to me you began a stranger.

Days are gone now,
We are all grown ups,
We both look wow,
And friendship was our start-up.

My lifetime lover,
And my longtime friend,
I can not believe it is over,
At least we did not pretend.

I wish us good luck,
For your life and mine,
We both have him to look up,
We both have each other to thank for that time.
