One night I stood at my doorstep staring
I don't know what it was that caught my sight,
So peaceful and calm that in the dark I saw a light
Was it the stars, the moon, I kept thinking
I felt the presence of someone, but I kept searching
My heart started beating fast, what if I was right
But what if it was only me and the lonely night.
It was my uncle from above, his presence so soothing
He looked exactly the same yet so blissful
My heart felt so light, that I'll always remember that day
Time came to a halt, everything else was so wonderful
Before I could touch him, he disappeared and went away
I felt like heaven on earth, I was staring at the moon,
In the hope that I'll meet him again and sometime soon..
