Family Time

Mountains reflection on the
beautiful clear blue lake,
laying back in a chair,
taking in the scenery,
the scent of pine trees
fill the air.

Skipping rocks into the lake,
one, two, three times it moves,
casting a fishing pole over your head,
betting who can catch the biggest fish,
sticking your finger on the hook,
holding up a beer everybody
saying Cheers.

Setting up the fire in the pit,
tossing marsh mellows around,
blowing out the flame when it gets to big,
talking about ghostly tales,
as the wind flows around,
causing your heart to violently pound.

Days filled with fishing,
nights filled with laughter,
this is what camping is all about,
laying out in the sun,
playing games with one another,
never letting a smile go down,
family time is all about love.

I remember these days when I was younger with my familia.

    Perfect Imagery. Outstanding flow.
    Truly Wonderful Sweetie.
