Like the Spring Wind

by NightFlyer   Oct 18, 2011

Warm Spring wind,
Streaming past my vale in swirling crescendos
Past the grey skies of the barren Winter's sorrows
A refreshing breeze,
Roaring past heaving branches in this new season's panorama
From the sparkling seas,
New life merging with the clarion winds over swaying trees
This symphony resounding in victory
O'er the bleak wastelands of Winter's dominion
May new love, like the Spring wind
Glide and melt this Winter's heart that reigns in my being
May her kiss forever free me from the bonds of yesterday's prison
Like the sun warming the cold earth
And her touch, like a breath of new life.

* I recently found this poem in the trunk of my car that I just had shipped up from Florida. Wrote this some years ago but don't remember when exactly. After reading and editing, I thought it worthy of posting here.

I just love that line for it says alot! It is like having that one person who can ease, heal and set us free with their presence and nothing else. Enjoyed the read :)

I will agree with everyone, exceptionally beautiful. Search more places, there are some more ravishing pieces hidden somewhere.

Such vividity of emotions like lungs being filled with pure pulsating oxygen. A fresh breath of air , leaving the reader with a smile all day long.
