Forever Alone

by Brooklen Shore   Oct 20, 2011

One white rose in a field of weeds
Forever alone
No other to cry as she bleeds
Staring up with her thoughts unknown
This gentle smile upon her face
Sings a melody worthy of time
Her heart is beating at a slow pace
Loving this most unholy crime
Her breath falls shallow as her petals droop
An unknown darkness dwells above
No one now able to help her recoup
Wanting not this absence of love
Yet there is nothing else she can think of
Loving dreams hum in her head
Sorrowed souls find her dead
Forever alone Bleeding red
