I Wish I Don't Lose Him

by believeinlove87   Oct 20, 2011

Sitting on the window sill,
knees tucked under her chin,
staring at the bright glowing moon,
sees a shooting star fly by,
closing her eyes really tight,
she makes her biggest wish.

Counting to three,
with a big breath of air,
she prays that her wish is answered,
needing, longing, craving for him,
her love burns hotter then the sun,
he means everything to her.

Drifting off to sleep,
she dreams about seeing him
waiting underneath the moon lit tree,
down on one knee,
playing her favorite song on the radio,
yelling out her name,
for her to come down & be in his arms.

Opening the front door,
smiling an ear to ear grin,
running into his arms, refusing to let go,
suddenly she wakes up,
screaming no! tears pouring out her eyes,
before going to lay in her bed,
she looks at the glowing moon,
silently saying her wish out loud,
" I wish I don't lose him..."
