lost love
His fingers dragged along the keys, listening to every sound wondering why nobody wanted him around as tears dripped down his cheeks. When they landed on his hand he stared down at his feet and wished that he knew the right words to speak. Maybe if he knew, he could stop his mother from drinking herself to death and maybe if he spoke he could talk away his breath so he would never have to breathe again. And the only girl he ever gave his heart to calls him a big mistake because after his father passed away his spirits started to break and he finally snapped and grabbed her by the throat to share his pain with her. She left him, all alone with a suicide note as his only peace of mind. The sad part is that he knew he would never follow through; he just wanted to feel like he had some control. But then everyone left him the second he spoke of his goals. They all said he was insane and was going nowhere with his life; That he had a messed up brain and laughed at the fact that his soon to be wife stranded him in a house with that piano. "He should marry that piano" they all joked with each other. He just wanted his lover back but she wasnt coming home so he took advantage of all this time he had alone and played and played and played his heart away from when the sun came up until the end of the day. He made something of himself and proved to everyone else that he wasnt so worthless after all. They just didnt realize it until his funeral. |
I like the whole story-like style of this, really enjoyed reading it. Gonna wait for the next part. |
