A whisper in the dark

by GrimExpectations   Oct 21, 2011

Pray tell,
Little Angel.
What does thou look for?
So deep in this,
Chasm of dark.

Do you seek,
The master of Death?
How he sits so high on his throne of bone?
Think you can best,
Such a horseman?

Or maybe,
The father of lies?
Locked deep in his tomb of ice.
Dare you tread,
Were gods light doesn't?

Little Dove,
Bird of love.
Only loneliness and corruption await you here.
So turn away,
Head back.

So please,
White light.
Let me return to sleep here in the darkness alone.
It's not in my heart,
To see you fade away.
