Re-reading Past Conversations

Re-reading the past conversations
Makes me smile on the inside and out
It makes me feel good
That they never had any doubt.

I re-read the funny times
And the sad times too
Just wishing I could find
And know more people like you.

You understand what I go through
You understand it quite well
You know that a paper and pen
Are like my guardian angel.

I write whatever it is I feel
And for me it is easy to do
I never have to think about it
I just let my pen compose and I don't argue.

Some of my friends ask me
How I write with such strong words
All I tell them is this:
My pen does about two-thirds.

I can't ever explain
How I can write like I do
But maybe someday I'll just write it down
And then I can show you.

But as for now in this life
I will just re-read the conversations
Smiling on the inside and out
Ridding myself of life's frustrations.

I know what this feels like, and it makes for a unique poem. I think it is an excellent idea for something new, and it lets the audience know something about who you are personally. It is an amazing piece in my opinion. The word choice is fabulous, the rhymes are so subtle and don't seem forced at all. This is so wonderful I have to give it a 5/5
