Your anger really came through in this piece and you could sense the hostility. I think the best part of this poem was the start as it had a really good flow.

    I also loved the ending

    "Nag and complain
    overlooking what I do"

^ Some people are just to critical to see the good in things and they want to pick holes in everything and make out everything is wrong even when things are right. If this poem isn't fiction and it is about you I hope you have the inner strength to pull through and stand up to this person

I understand how it feels to feel forgoten and in the way around those who should care for you!! I wish i could take your pain away, even if it ment placing it upon myself, just to give you the peace you undoubtedly deserve!! Be strong and God bless you my friend!!!!!

There are those who see what they want to see in us sometimes, and not who we are and what we are.
You've vented your frustration and a bit of angriness very well in tnis sad yet beautifuly penned piece.
Thanks for reading my poem of faith. It's good to know that there are many who still see the need for spiritual uplifting.

This was a great poem. Sometimes we need to let out our emotions. Poetry is one of my ways of doing so. Nice write. :)

Writing is a good way to vent ones pain. It does happen, no matter what you do or how much you try its never enough. This piece perfectly describes the agony and the torment. The flow is fluid. Job well done =)

I feel a connection with this poem as soon as I start reading it. The first few lines are so powerful. It's like your own personal vent!

As I keep reading I realise that this is a parent figure of some sort that just keeps bringing you down

    you nag me constantly
    every day it seems
    do you even realize
    what you make me feel
    each and every day

    you love me
    sure
    but do you realize
    what you say

    Nag and complain
    overlooking what I do
    you make me angry
    you paralyze me,
    stabbing me with words
    poisoning me
    With your venomous stare

These words, express what a parent would do when they are disappointed in you. I know how that feels which is why I feel connected to this poem.

I love my parents very much but sometimes they don't know when they've gone overboard with things or don't realise what they say actually hurts us.

    It's numbing

    Well done
