We're just living on borrowed time.

Greet each day with a thankful heart and a smile on your face,
thank the Lord for sustaining you with his guidance, love and grace.

In your hour of deep distress bow your heads and pray,
the Lord will be your will and strength when the devil tries to ruin your day.

If you see a fellow human being walking down life's rocky pathway,
stop, say hello my friend, how are you doing today?

You never know, he or she could be drowning in despair,
and your few words could mean a lot to them, all because you care.

If someone hurt your feelings my friends don't let your feelings for them turn to hate,
cause deep within your beating heart a lasting bitterness it can create.

When burdened down by troubles and strife don't try to face it alone,
just call on the name of Jesus Christ and he'll take it to his fathers throne.

Jesus Christ is the only one who's qualified to cleanse a sinful heart,
and he's willing to meet you halfway my friends if only you'd do your part.

Isn't it great to know that God is watching us from his kingdom above?
i'm sure it is, and, we should be thankful for his undying and unconditional love.

So venture over to that closet my friends where that bible is gathering dust on the shelf,
and, turn to John three, read verse sixteen, and you'll see for yourself.

That Jesus is indeed is the begotten son of God who went to Calvary to save us all,
and, on whose name in every circumstances we always seem to call.

The way to his kingdom and eternal life is very easy to find,
So seek him now and don't delay for we're just living on borrowed time.

Ver good and very true!! I love the stanza

When burdened down by troubles and strifes
don't ever try to face it alone,
just call on the name of Jesus Christ
and he'll take it to his fathers throne.

it is an excellent reminder of how no matter what hardship we may be going through, God may allow it to happen so that we can learn something, or to strengthen us, or some reason that we just cant explain but He does know what he is doing and has our best interest in his plan, and that no matter how hard it gets, He is right there walking through it with us!! Great Poem!!

this is indeed what is needed in this world today, Paul.

Recently a Chinese todler was run over twice by a van and 15 people walked straight past her, unwilling to waste time on her. At last a woman took pity on her and called an ambulance, but it was too late already. She died now and with her, a part of our human dignity and respect died...What are we becoming?

Keep trying to reach people with His word:)
