The Dawning of the Chaos Lords

by Jeremy S Farley   Oct 23, 2011

They come from black depths,
Twisting and squirming
With dripping sharp maws
And eyes that are burning

One thousand twisted shapes
Merciless and full of hate

Down they fall from space
Devouring the human race

They rain from the sky
Rolling and tumbling
Screaming a chorus
Of volcanic rumbling

Twisted masses crawl
Tooth and nail they ravage all

Endlessly they fall
Howling forms, chimerical

Onward they pour
Putrid jaws gnashing
Ripping and rending
Their great talons slashing

One thousand twisted shapes
Pitiless they decimate

Disfigured faces salivate
From the stars to uncreate

Brick and glass crumbles,
All order in ruin
Life scoured away
Before hellish typhoon

From the stars like meteors
Stream the thrashing demon hordes

The earth in ruins forevermore
The dawning of the Chaos Lords
