Before I Woke Up

You were dreaming of me,
at least I supposed so
thus my eyes lightened
with a blaze that echoed yellow
glassy arcs of gem rainbows.
It left me wordless enjoying
such a moment of plain
yet possessed silence,
I trust.

I was dreaming of you,
at least you believed so
thus you started molding
surprises in wine glasses of light.
It left you drunk, passionate
for an inspiring night of plain
yet wild romance,
I wish...

    You know your poems have always been a favorite of mine. But the last couple seemed forced, the flow was there and yet the words were emotionless. It read in monotone, not like the vibrancy you usually display
