Ice Queen

by stormingdance (Lessa)   Oct 24, 2011

Stardust glittered upon the frozen sun
And life on Earth is all dead and gone.
Dear child, do you still wonder "What went wrong?"

It's the Queen! In all her faux serenity.
Her vapid smile devoured my heart,
And I swear she crystallized the blood in my veins.

My dear Ice Queen, why do you conquer me?
There's a sparkle in your eyes but no warmth to your skin.
You're dead to me, so why are you still holding on?

It was all just a lie. It was all just a mirror.
I swear she crystallized the blood in my veins.
Dear ice queen, are you but a memory of who I use to be?

Am I,
Am I the frozen one?

I love dark poems and i think this is exceptionally good, there are somethings i would have done differently, but i dont feel that anyone should tell someone how they should write what they feel.
    my favorite part was

"And life on Earth is all dead and gone."
in all the flow was great the emotion was strong well done 5/5 ^.^
