I'm lost

I don't know where I am
I'm in an unknown town
I'm lost in an empty house
All on my own

I look, but there is no sight
I listen, but there is no sound
I open my eyes, but there is no light
I search for love
But it can't be found

How can this be
Why has this happened to me
When did I become so lost
Where am I, I need an answer
I shout but nobody is there
Nobody knows me now,
They wouldn't care..

    I liked reading this poem, you had a good structure and it created a background in my mind of entering a new town and having nobody you know, nobody who knows you back to welcome you. You express yourself well and the feeling of being lost, the emptiness. Simple but from the heart.
