Snow white

by Suf Amichay   Oct 24, 2011

Snow-white is sleeping now,
covered by hundred blankets of leaves
That fell on her head, whispering in its defeat:
"Sleep, beauty, sleep , for you have sinned the earth
in your grace, now you shall never again breathe."
She cannot see, but in her head nightmares spins
around the queen's lovely face and she is smiling,
her lips are red veils that open slowly, reveling only darkness.

One day, a prince will come. He will kiss snow-white's frozen
lips and the poison of his warmth will enchant her.
She will ride on his white horse, be his queen,
but at night, his arms around her, she will cry her love
for the beautiful, cold queen and her beautiful,
cold gardens and those red veils that will never
touch hers.
