Powerful, supportive, loving thoughts penned with an ardent desire to help. Every soul who develops an addiction needs a saviour. Bless your efforts, hope they work. A great write for the red ribbon week. 5/5

And I forgot, it deserves a nomination for its moral fiber.

A deep and affectionate poem. The care you penned is intense and sincere
I found it a poem to be read by anyone addicted to anything. I commend you for this effort to help someone and for the power and strength you enclosed in words that flowed with brilliance

Awesome poem on how addictions can be more powerful than the love of someone

My favorite line is the bottom comment, "doesnt deserve me in his"

Every decision has consequences and no one in a relationship should be second choice to anything

great series of writing and great poem I enjoyed it greatly :0)

    Hey Holly,

I really loved this poem. I started to get emotional reading each line.

    Let me be your backbone,
    keep you standing tall,
put all your strength onto me,
    I'll never let you fall,
    alone you'll never conquer this
    addiction.
    ^^^^^

I love this stanza. The words are so strong and at this point you can already feel exactly what the poem is about and the meaning behind it.

I felt even more emotional reading the part where you mother had gone through this as well (So very sorry)

I have to say that there are so many people out there going through things alone - this poem shows that there are people willing to stick by you no matter what.

    I loved it!
