Mommies Busy.

by Black Heart Still Beating   Oct 25, 2011

Baby's crying tonight.
Are you there?
Will you go and kiss their knees,
the ones that they tore open on the gravel,
when you let them run free,
not gripping mommies hand.
Oh mommy,
Did you pick them up?
tonight, pick them up,
hush them,
coon sweet sordid lies.

Now now, don't fuss,
Mommies in the other room.
Not in to much of a hurry,
but letting you run,
run and fall.
Mommies busy child
Don't hang off her hand.
She'll shack you free,
free of mommy,
but they're so young.
Hush now darling,
mommies in the other room,
She doesn't want to calm you,
but she wants you to shut up.
Shh,
Mommies out on the town,
she wont tell anyone of you.

Baby's crying tonight,
Mommies in the other room,
who will pick them up?
If their mother wont,
who will hold their hand?
Dust off the dirt,
the grit and the sand?
But it's okay,
mommies in the other room.
