Show me how to (Part II Wishful)

by A lonely soul   Oct 27, 2011

Give me a canvass, a brush and some bright colors
I want to paint a portrait of an unearthly beauty
Sprinkle some magic clay on my fingers
I will breath life to a creation enamored with my love

Show me how to bring back an angel so unforgettable

I languish to hear that soft soothing voice again
A sound more bewitching than the sirens symphony
Sing me a verse, of a song impassioned
An opus with lyrics ornate, laced with sweet euphony

Show me how to kill a mockingbird with a fervid melody

Show me how to break free
My wings are still pinioned to a cage
Show me where to go, what to do
I lost my fervour, my convictions in life

To an archangel who clipped my wings

Show me how to soar free once again
up above and beyond where the sky meets the ocean
a place where others dare not fly
my seventh heaven stolen from under me

But first I do need that angel back
oh, I beg you please give back my wings
