Fragment

by Lofallenve   Oct 27, 2011

She takes another hesitant step;
Down the jagged halls--
Broken mirrors decorate the empty walls--
Her eyes more shattered than the spider web glass;
On her surface she looks suave and unperturbed--
While entrenched in her soul;
She's uncouth and battered--
Suffering the side effects;
Of a never-ending story--
of the misguided,
The foolish,
and the fragmented heart.
