Like and Hate

by Brooklen Shore   Oct 28, 2011

I like it when you look at me
In your eyes it's love I see
I like it when you smile widely
It makes my silly heart beat wildly
I like it when you hold my hand
I feel as though I'm on sacred land
I like it when we share a kiss
It fills my body full of bliss
But I hate that your so far away
I wish, with me, you could forever stay
I hate that I can't lay in your arms
To be fully indulged by your bitter-sweet charms
I hate that when your not here I cry
And even more when we say good-bye
I hate that I don't hate this sick call
Not a little or a lot or even at all

Excellent poem, I love the whole thing so I couldn't pick a favorite line. I love how you express your desires and needs. Greaat
