The military funreal

by curtis kotrch the silent tears of of my heart   Oct 28, 2011

My hands re shaking my body quaking as

i step up to play the first note i have to try my hardest note to choke

as the flag is folded my pain grows

my mom squeezes my hand as they say

your son was a brave man

on behalf of the united states of America we thank him for his service

the gunshots ring and makes me scream i cant believe my brothers gone in physical appearance but his soul lives on

dedicated to my brother Sergeant major Coty Lee Walma

he went down saving 30 other marines and for that he gets the medal of honor does help me at all with my pain but at least i can make his death not in vain
