Not sure if its just because i'm literally in the same exact position as you are in this but i really like this poem and is easily relatable. This is typical friends with benefits with only one person on board. the other person fools him or herself to believe its a step closer to what they had

When i read the title, I didn't know what to expect but you definitely delivered the message well, It must be in a hard spot to just be there because they want you there just cux they dont want to be alone... I get how that feels too, and you penned nicely
