Sometimes in doubt

by Yakari Gabriel   Oct 30, 2011

Its for the good-bye
kisses I never get when
I leave
your house,but the way
I even clean my bed sheets
when you come over to mine.

Its for the difference
between the atmosphere
I set for you and the one you
set for me,

you're like an unreachable
gate..although you've
opened up to me..

still,
you're the dream of all dreams..
my daffodil amidst roses

for you I've made
a castle floating in
the air,
for our love doesn't
need to be grounded
with concrete to
stand strong..I thought.

yet within analyzing
and pondering..

I found something
that felt like
hitting my little
toe on the end of a table..

captivated by your
beautiful face,

I often forget
that you don't
love me like I love you.

    High Five Yaki.

Your poems are remarkable because they have details... some things that appear very normal and cliche in real life, but the way you put them into words is flawless..

    ^ I love this part.
