A DYING GIRLS LAST WISH...

by hanna casinillo   Oct 31, 2011

I want to tell you something,
Though I know you're in a hurry
But still I need a listener,
To the ending of my story

So mommy please come over,
Because I need you today.
I want to tell a story,
So come in any way

Daddy misses you so much
I hear his cries every night
I have to come by in his room
To rell him it's alright.

Big sister ran away,
Now she will have a baby
I know she is just sixteen,
She really needs you mommy!

Our poor youngest baby,
Is sick and could even die.
I tell her it is okay,
believe me, it's a lie.

And now as I give up
Let me tell you before I die.
Tomorrow is gonna be my last day,
but no one is gonna cry.

Because daddy's gone insane
He made big sister's baby.
If only you could see her,
You could say that she is crazy.

And our poor youngest baby,
Has now passed away.
So mom, come here and listen,
to what I am gonna say.

Mommy please we need you!
To make things go away
Cause there is nothing I can do,
But just lay down here and pray

This is my last day of living
It is a very special day.
For after this day,
The bad things will go away

This piece is nicely penned. It really makes the audience think about themselves in a position like this. I think you have done wonderfully, and that is a remarkable thing. Emotion over flows in this piece, the tone is more than sad, and the voice of the girl who wrote this is so clear, I can hear her reading it to me. I can hear every tear she fights back, every waver in her voice, every memory she has lived comming back to her as she thinks that her death will fix everything. But what she fails to see is that her death will only make things worse for her and her family. This piece is heartrending, you are very talented. Excellent job on this.
