Trapped Soul

by xXForeverBlueXx   Oct 31, 2011

She sits there, crying, waiting, hoping,
She paces circles, dying, waiting, choking,
The air in the room has gotten stale,
She lost her voice long ago, here words only fail,
The crisp smell of outdoors is too far gone to remember,
She licks her lips begging to taste the foods she used to be able to have whenever,
She's fallen victim to such a strange fate,
Doomed to live her life trapped in a cage,
She falls to the floor,
Looking desperately for a door,
She draws a raspy last breath,
Scared, but she welcomes Death

Imagery in this could be improved, but the description overall is pretty great. The flow was a little odd, however the word choice was wonderful. I like this piece, great job.
