    "Pouring salt on
    an open wound,
    digging deep
    a buried pain."

A smashing way to open a poem. You immediately gave the poem life and feeling

    "Reminding of
    a lingering ache,
    scattering the pieces
    of a broken heart."

This was the bit that really pulled at my hreat strings. I felt a higher connection to this stanza.

    "Abducting the soul
    from its beholder,
    depriving the chance
    of one last breath."

The final stanza was so well put that I am sure many people who are going through a rough period right now will relate to it.

I am going to vote for this in the contest

    5/5

    According to stoichiometric ratios,

your wording = your images = your atmosphere of sadness = your tight structure = PERFECT.

Really good work. You fit alot of painful emotion in a very small space. I dont think the title matches very well though.

Wow I love this poem! It was dark, deep, yet so intriguing. I felt the pain, especially of the open wound... and it was an amazing piece. Well-written and powerful my friend!! =)

helps it heal faster =-) burns more but sure heals faster <3
nominated once i get my voices back
    no bet.
