Dreaming

by JakeHatesYou   Nov 1, 2011

The hope someone has with the twist of randomness?
The hope someone has for that which is not right?
To see how far the stretching mind can travel?
Is dreaming another form of release when one feels empty?
How can one feel release when they are empty?
Does the emptiness uplift us?
Weightlessly,
Among the soaring clouds,
Where no gravity holds your thoughts down;
Keeps you trapped, among the river of cries?
Dreaming is the escape from reality,
The world which you have control,
While you sleep,
Recharging your energy,
For the next day,
Of the world you disgrace.
Dreaming is Heaven without dying.

When the twist takes a turn for the unexpected,
There is nothing that will stop it.
The Antagonist just killed the Protagonist in essence.
A hypocritical person would support the idea of,
'You can always get what you want if you work for It,
But when do you achieve what you want?
'You will never get what you want, only things you don't need',
The hypocritical person does support this too,
Making him a hypocrite,
Rather though, the idea of obtaining what you want,
Happens, 'For the most part', In Your Dreams.
The hope someone has for that which is not right.
The false sense of accomplishment.
You always get what you want in your dreams,
Unless it's a nightmare.

You seem to have good writing skills but this seems more like phylosophy than poetry to me. It does make you think but there is no imagery or emotion.
