I think that this is a really powerful poem because of the emotions you portray. Your descriptive words gave me, as the reader, the possibility to imagine the scene or even more imagine myself in the position of the speaker. While reading this poem I had the feeling of sadness, frustration and disappointment lingering in my lungs. You managed to describe the situation very well and I like your choice of words.
