At the table across from me
I am eating lunch with my friends
And suddenly think:
What are they talking about?
Do they have lives?
Do the women talk about their husbands?
The men, their wives?
Do they talk about their children?
If they have any.
Do they talk about their pets?
Do they have very many?
Whats the science teacher's favorite color?
Maybe red or blue.
What kind of music does the P.E. teacher
always listen to?
Does our Math teacher think of anything
But torturing all of us?
What does Mr.Vinny drive,
When he is not driving us on the bus?
Does my Art teacher like getting messy
or just painting neatly?
Do they get together on weekends?
Or avoid each other completely?
Do they talk about us?
How badly we have been acting?
I have never seen so much disrespect!
or
I hate how Alicia's chemical in the lab is reacting!
Has my computer teacher ever thought of taking up modeling?
All the guys like her.
Does my Fitness teacher ever think
Of some really hot biker?
Do they talk about us in disgust
Or do they love us ever so
What teachers talk about
or think,
I guess I will never know!
