Christmas Nightmare

by Avrilene La Beth   Nov 4, 2011

Children all around the world believe in thee,

Wishin' him to come,

Santa is he?

Hopin' to hear the bells,

And see the presents,

For all to see what fails.

To see it be a beautiful Christmas day,

The snow on the ground,

And to go play.

While all sleep in haze,

Deeply in their heads,

Stuck inside an endless maze.

Thee comes in the night,

With death on his mind,

Such a Christmas fright.

Bringing his flaming black axe,

He plans to be thrilled on this Christmas night,

Kill is his max.

Flying high in the shadowy night,

With his ebony cloak covering his body and face,

Making his mission tonight.

He comes to his first house,

Silent with no fear,

Seeing a little girl in her white blouse.

Her eyes wide with terror,

Tears to flow from her eyes,

Was thee to scare her?

He grins big with his sharp teeth,

And takes his axe in hand,

She yells for her brother Keith.

But he lie in his maze,

Thee take her life,

The flames making a bright glaze.

His shadows move to the next destination,

Finding a boy asleep in his maze,

Thee swipes his soul without hesitation.

The next with a father,

Then a mother,

Why to even bother?

Thee feels satisfied with these choices,

But why just these to choose?

The taunting voices.

Thy taketh a girl,

A boy and father,

Then a mother to twirl.

For whom killed thee,

To whom not forgotten,

Feel the pain for he.

For they who killed thee,

And thee killed them,

Now satisfied is he.

So do not bring forth him,

Or you'll never feel again,

For he is Grimm.

Do not wish for thee,

Death will take part by you,

So open your eyes to see.

Live your life without fuss,

Happy and grateful,

So your nightmare isn't based on Christmas
