I'm too wrapped onto my corner
to take a step outside this chamber,
too poor to wish for divinity to grant
me a plate of gold, and a dream
of silver under my filthy covers.

^Awesome awesome imagery, I liked the flow here, it was serene yet sad, beautiful yet heartbreaking, I like the imagery of filthy covers, so original

But dear, though I wear worn shoes,
    I still have good feet,
    still believe in firm stands.

^I loved it all, seriously. But the ending, the ending was absolutely perfect, you are so original, and so true I love it

    Love
    Tara

Hey there, how about stop being sad, ha? you already showered us with the amazingness of your sad poems, we now long for something cheerful, for I am such a depressed adorable thing, can't you see my frown on my cheeks?

'I'm too wrapped onto my corner
to take a step outside this chamber'

Awww I love this! I loved the concept of this poem, and the underlying meaning of it... it was very unique and interesting, with an eye-catching title. The ending was uplifting - I love the idea of standing firmly on those worn shoes!!

    I loved this part:

too poor to wish for divinity to grant
me a plate of gold, and a dream
of silver under my filthy covers.

    Amazing!!! 5/5
