This lullaby i sing for you

My words were sweet and kind as i sang a song to you about me. I am no angle no perfect girl. I fall apart just as well. I started to cry as told you who i was. You took my hand and said it was OK. I told how i liked to tease and make you mad. I told you that i like to argue because it gave reason. Reason to cheat to break your heart. As i said this you did not pull away. You held my hand and i continued. I told you that i wouldn't be the girl that stayed. That a fight would make me leave and never return. How my heart always hurts. That i stay up at night crying. That i fall asleep thinking about you. That your touch makes me quiver. How i would leave even though i loved you. How i can be heartless and then filled with love. A tear fell down your face so i pulled away. I said now you must not love me any more. What shocked was that you said" I'm hurt cause your trying to push me away with all your faults". " But all i hear is lullaby of who you are and that lullaby is why i love you".
