You have cancer, what does this mean?
I may only be in 2nd grade, but you look strong and lean.
My mom will go, right now she's crying.
I didn't know at the time that that meant she was dying
My dad lets her cry on his shoulder
He turns around and his eyes are puffy too.
My older sister and i just look at each other
Mommy, what will we do without you?
All the love you've given us
All the love you have to share
I feel like nobody cares
I am filled with fear
Even more tear after tear
Its been years and years, since mommy left.
And i think about what could have been.
I pick up the picture of this beautiful lady.
And once again her soul fills me within.
I miss you to death mom.
I miss you a lot.
Just knowing I'll see you eventually
Is all that I've got.
