The sun has pierced the clouds

by Karla   Nov 6, 2011

You ask me
what I will miss the most
when you leave
and all I want is to enjoy
the time we have left.

Thoughts drive me
stark raving insane.
Don't want to think
I will lose you
some day.

I get really scared
of waking up in the morning
and not hearing your voice.
We are tired of battles.
I look at you and I see
the universe fading.
I hate the fact that
you are not on God's priority list
right now.
He will do something
to save us in the long run.

The sun has pierced
the clouds outside and shone
across our house.
It is irrelevant
but the sky is blue and clear.

Hold my hand, my love
my faith is not dry yet.

This is beautiful and yet sad all rolled together with a little bit of hope. It reminded me of a loved one having a terminal illness, knwoing they will be gone soon and trying to help us deal with it, only in our minds we ignore it and want to focus on the itme we have left with them.

You have a wrote a very unique poem which feels like it just came from the heart without too much effort and just flowed onto the page as it came into your head.

I enjoyed this read nd related tot he situation which I picked up on.

    Well done
