In the endless hours of the night while wide awake
I sit and wonder why there is such a sadness within me
I fall to my knees and ask God above please
show me how to love myself
mend me from the inside out
Let me gain back the love and trust that was ripped away from me
wipe away the tears I shed
help me to fill the void in my heart
