Careless World

Why is it
that life is unfair
with bad things
swirling the air

Why is it
that the world is so cruel
and steals all the good things
that you find

How can life
be such a mess
and take such happiness

I hate what this world
has brought you
it's a senseless care

It steals your family
your friends, love
and happiness
perhaps it steals your soul

Icy cold
darkness blind
evil vines
sucking life's
into a void
a black hole

Why is it
that life is unfair?

Why is it
that the world is so cruel?

How can life
be such a mess
and take such happiness

~This is dedicated to a great friend who I can't believe that all life has for him is sadness and pain,,I only wish the best for him
