Driven Blood

by Kristin   Jun 24, 2004

He left me there alone
stranded in the street
couldn't hear the tone
of the incoming feet

I didn't no what had happened
but all else fell still
while people surrounded
the body of the killed

My emotions ran off the wall
blood streamed from my hands
to my knees i began to fall
onto where he did stand

I glanced around
and they all stared back
then my bloodshot eyes found
the one who committed this act

I only wish it wasn't him
that the driver hit
and tore him limb from limb
and left him to rot, bleed, and sit

It should of been me
that had taken the fall
for it can be inferred
I killed him, after all
