Not as Long as Forever

by October Skies   Nov 12, 2011

Their love was young and blossoming
Yet here it lay torn apart, flung away
The spark extinguished with their tears
What would have been is now what could have been
How this happened, I can not say
Roses wilt
The sun sets and
Happiness fades
