Flowery Language

Pretentiously poetic prose permeates
deep words espousing deep thoughts on deep subjects
the unrelenting mental masturbation of the learned

obscure insights into tremendous topics
approached with little trepedation and much ego
byzantine flourishes masking emptiness

the words don't ring hollow to the heart
but their meanings meaningless in the mind
a poet more suited to a politician

but perchance to be forthright is to deny subtlety
but then by what...
eh, i've got nothing. Penis fish! Repent!
