The authorities have given me permission to rant
About a man that has the name of a sports star
from latvia who may wonder who you are.
Your self portait leaves much to be desired,
yet there is no telling how many poems youve inspired.
I wish we had the wisdom of the Dali Lama
to focus on the poetry without the drama.
'They say in your counrty your name is common as John Smith
Only you could tell us is this more fact than myth.

They per se will say "they 'have your back
"They" this day will stay at the head of the pack
like beating a horse with no name
it is bound to die just the same
You may be smiling while you frown
'You' is just a second person pronoun
