Papaw

by Brook   Nov 16, 2011

I wish to hear your voice,
To feel your touch,
Listen to the advice
I hated so much
When you left,
our family fell apart,
It was too much to take,
no more joy in our heart,
You held us together,
Made us get along,
You told us how it was,
and when you thought we were wrong,
You were much older,
with so much insight,
You always tried to make us
See what was right,
You never raised your voice,
and never a hand
You were a very wise
and gentle man
We all listened,
to your ever word
Though we acted like we didnt,
we always heard
If I could,
I'd call you right now,
Ask what to do,
papaw help me somehow,
Our family is no longer
The way we use to be,
Please papaw, come help me,
I don't know what to do,
fix all their pain,
I just want it all
To feel normal again,
I cant do this alone;
I need to know what to do,
I wish you were here;
Papaw we need you,

Damn this is how everone feels when they lose that family member who was always there. I lost All but my Granny and it sucks. Keep it up and just remember what theyve taught you. I feel a connection with this so great job.
