Sonnet #4

by Sid Quinsaat   Nov 17, 2011

You know so little of the things you do
The smallest twitch or movement of your hand,
The smile that makes me drop all I pursue,
And then you speak and I'm at your command.
You set the rhythm of my heart abeat.
You raise the sun and give the birds a song.
The sight of you, it makes my day complete.
Your tough the only thing for which I long.
I could just tell you how you make me feel,
But how could any good come out of that.
I think our love is better left unreal.
Temptation from your eyes, I must combat.
I'm better off without you anyway.
Your disappointment in me I'll delay.

This is amazing and a well balanced Sonnet. My favourite from you.

    Well done.
