Words of encouragement for someone afraid to spread their wings and try love again. Everyone could benefit from this. We all have had love that doesn't end well and become afraid to try again. Just because one love didn't work out, doesn't mean that the next won't and we may repeat this cycle many times before the one real love is there for us. We just have to keep trying without fear.

I thought this was sweet, and so very touching. You had excellent flow, meaningful words and a touch of class

You can write most anything but I have seen a side in your writing with this that has been hidden.
    Loved it

TJ, the word Amor, before I forget is so damn melodious. I think Kristian is happy 'bout this.

And you didn't just write a dull tribute to a PnQer.. it was full of great imagery that expresses the name: Innocent Fairy.

It's as if she's a small bird, ready to fly.. and she will, eventually.

Wow, this poem is so beautiful. I loved it from beginning to end, and the message was strong and so important. I love how you describe this person as a fairy, angel, and I like the allusion to the roman mythology... And how she will be protected. It was so lovely to read, and very inspiring. Amazing poem!

Amor/Eros - Greek god of love. Eros means intimate love.

Cupid is the Roman counterpart of Eros. Most myths classify him under primordial god, while some myths mention him as the son of Aphrodite. According to Hesiod (c. 700 BC), one of the most ancient of all Greek sources, Eros was the fourth god to come into existence, after Chaos, Gaia (the Earth), and Tartarus (the Underworld).

    Now for the awesome composition.

Brother, I envy your ability to pen such awesome poems. The flow is flawless. The theme exquisite. I am short of words.

You set the bar higher every time. Bravo TJ!!

    TJ,

I always love to read your work, it sort of comforts me. It feels like I am sitting next to you and you are showing me a better world. Don't know if this makes sense to you, but this is how it feels. I have this with a few other people too, including my son, but it's rare..most people have lost the pureness that makes you feel serene when you are drawn into their world.

    Never change;)

A very nice encouraging verse, dedicated to the one "innocent fairy", who is always here amongst us, spreading cheer to the sad souls.

Only, a cupid's arrow will bring her down someday, until then fly free, fly high, fair lady.

Nice composition. Looks like has someone blushing. But fear not this is just TJ, PnQ's own Amor/Eros......King of romantic poetry!

Interesting way to look at the god of love especially since I'm getting into writing more about mythology in my poetry. I actually liked the different way of looking at this particular God.
