Lies and deceit

Lies and deceit are all i can see,

Everyday a new lie with a new line,

Does no one else notice,

Or is it they just don't care,

It seems as if its one or the other,

I believe it's the other,

People see only what they want to see,

So why not only hear what you want to hear,

It doesn't matter who you lie to,

Whether it be yourself or the one you love,

It will always hurt someone in the end,

Stop lying to yourself if you think it won't,

Lying is evil seeping through the lips,

Deceiving your fellow man leaves us all in the dark.
